The Key to Consistent Progress
There’s one thing you should never forget
How often have you told yourself that you’ll be more consistent this time around? Once or twice, maybe this is the fourth time.
Whether it’s your first or seventh, it doesn’t change that one thing required for consistent progress comes in the form of a routine.
And I don’t mean a half-assed routine you found on a random blog post. I mean a routine that you’ve tested, perfected, and experimented on to your liking. These kinds of personal routines make or break consistent progress on a long-term basis.
Sure, other factors play a part, like the learning plan and mentor choice, but it’s the routine that changes things.
So, how do you create a routine?
Experiment, take what works, and turn it into something new and unique. Whatever form that takes doesn’t matter as long as it works.
Remember not to be ashamed of your routine because what you do won’t always work for someone else and may even come off as weird to them, and that’s okay.
